New Orleans Jazz Museum® - The Burgundy & Dumaine Jazz Archive is an active online museum and digital archive presenting materials connected to the history and visual culture of New Orleans jazz.
The collection includes original instruments, vintage records, folk art, autographs, photographs, memorabilia, and related historical materials. It is rooted in the Dumaine Street jazz museum tradition - the French Quarter address where the world's first jazz museum opened on November 12, 1961 - and is available here as a living resource for researchers, collectors, educators, and the public.
